Holla!! Holla!!!

Okay. What's the excitement about? Whew.

I've been on this for as long as I can remember.  2014? Not so sure anymore. I started out with 96kg, got to 80.7, got to 70kg and have been struggling with constant weight gain and loss over the years. I got stuck on 75kg for a long time and now I'm 76kg and I'm sure it will keep increasing.

My offense? I love food a lot and I have access to good food. I spend half my time thinking about food, how to make it, photograph it...I'm a food porn enthusiast! Ever had an orgasm from good food? Lol!!

My motivation? I'm from a close knit family and it hurts to not be able to fit into my siblings' clothes. I also love packing light when I travel and being big with big clothes doesn't help. I also hate being the biggest girl in the room and I'm tired of coming up with clap back remarks to greetings like "Ah! Babe! You are now fat!" (My country people got no chill) #loudhiss. I'm also so restless and need to be busy all the time. Most importantly, I'm on bridesmaid duty in November and my fellow maids are beyond intimidating! #hidesface

So I'm on a 60 days journey with the goal to lose at least 1.5kg every week. SMART enough? I have a meal and exercise plan. I've also appointed Niella and Iyalla as my accountability partners. This ministry work I just gave them doesn't pay salary but what are friends for?

My alarm went off by 4:30am and I opened my eyes. I had been awake for a while. I got up, killed the alarm and set songs in my workout playlist to play. I still sat and let the thought of it being a Monday fully sink in.

I stood up a few minutes later, drank a cup of water, dressed up and started my routine:

Warm up: Jog at a spot for 5 mins

300 skips
60 jumping jacks
20 squats
10 press ups
20 mountain climbers
20 bicycle crunch

(Repeat 3x)
(Repeat all for a week)

I rested for 30 secs in between each exercise and was almost fainting before I was done. Little wonder I was soaked in sweat. I gulped on the bottle of water I kept at the foot of my bed. It felt really good.

I quickly jumped into the shower, prepared my meals and begged my brother to take me to the bus stop. It was drizzling...no it wasn't! Just what I told him to get him out of bed. I left the house a few minutes behind my schedule.

I hadn't left the estate when I felt the need to pee. My bladder was not used to the level of water I drank. Lol! I got to work just as I was sure I'll pee on myself. Peeing could be such a pleasure 😂

It was a really good day!
