Aha!! A week before Valentine, I was wondering what to do with my life on Val's weekend. During my school days, I used to sit in front of the hostel and watch babes laugh, cry, fight, swear, snatch, lie bla bla bla! It was awesome! Once, a girl travelled to PH to visit her fiance only to meet her room mate who travelled a week earlier there! They both came back to school and fought everyday for over a month. Truthfully, that was the best val I've ever had! Well, its time to change how I spend my Val. There's no hostel to sit in front of and it would be weird to go house to house, neighbor to neighbor, window to window peeping and hoping to find some action. Thursday morning, all my friends left me in Lag and travelled to various places - PH, Enugu, Abuja, US, SA, Obollo Eke, Ovoko, and the list continues! Ha! I no fit carry last na! I'd call today one of the best days I've ever had! Bear with me! I love telling stories but cos I love u guys, I'll keep it short! I woke up by 3am, believe me it’s weird! Since work happened, I wake up by 5 with headaches and panics! So I silently told myself that it will be a lovely day! It was!!!! Big bro woke up by 5:15, ironed and was ready by 5:35! He waited, screamed, sighed, threatened but waited By 6:25, we left... Just when we got to Costain, I saw d building but the Costain West Africa written on it, I didn't see! Ahhhhh! Did d rain wash it away? D rain must have some kinda chemicals in it to wash away something that has been there for years! It took some minutes for my mainframe brain to boot! What rain? I forgot my eyes at home!!!!!!!.... ....Ahhhhhh...

It’s amazing how waking up on Saturdays ruin the whole day for me. Don’t get me wrong. It’s not that I want to die now or any other time. It’s just that going to work while others that I worked with during the week are all sleeping is not fun no matter how ‘no fun’ you are. I don’t want to! Wish I could sleep on a Friday night and wake up on a Sunday. Whew! No matter how much I complain, Saturday has come to stay. Today was no exception. I woke up with venom. I sighed, hissed, cursed my lovely boss for nothing, put my face in my pillow to block out the dawn…add whatever else you think I should have done. This isn’t life. I sluggishly and grudgingly stood up from my very inviting boyfriend that beckoned on me with its beautiful sheet, brushed my teeth, took my bath, dressed up of course and left. Even my every Saturday farming back in the days does not measure up to this. Life in Lag is just hard. Without a car and a heavy pocket, don’t even think about it. No bikes! No...
